How Ridiculous
The bowling ball bounced from 45m, but what about 165m?
After you guys smashed our 200K likes challenge on our Bowling Ball Vs Trampoline 45m video, we take our experiment to new heights at Luzzone Dam, Ticino, Switzerland.
A huge thank you to Ticino Tourism for helping to make this happen! You've gotta go and see this place for yourself, it's amazing! For more info check out

What's the 44 Club you may ask? Well it all started in the outro of this video where we wondered if anyone was still watching the video at that point, and to comment 44 (Scott's fave number) if they were. Brett then said 44 Club get on board and the rest is history. The 44Club is the official How Ridiculous fan club made up of people who love our videos and watch them right to the very end. We've even got 44 Club merch now! So yeh, that's the story. Pretty random but good fun at the same time.
We are passionate about seeing children released from poverty and we would love you to consider sponsoring a child with Compassion. We visited our sponsor children in the Philippines and were blown away by the difference that child sponsorship can make. To find out more about sponsoring a child right now, check out:

I love how they still haven't pinned someone for the comtest

Who else got confused and thought the bowling ball was still but it was really high up in the air

Thought I’d be underwhelmed but seeing a bowling ball exploding and that insane bounce at the end was pretty cool

I never thought I'd be so entertained by such an experiment, but the enthusiasm of the team that put this video together and their joy at the end of the video made it all worthwhile to see. Thank you for 12 minutes of my life that I will never get back, but well worth it!

Wow. That was cool. I can just imagine all the Swiss engineers wondering why their dam is under attack.

That trampoline is pretty tough! I actually thought the bowling ball might put a hole in it! Very impressive 👏

All I can think of is that’s going to be one huge task to clean up all that debris! Fun experiment though, kept my attention! Keep having fun but stay safe!

You can actually see the ball curve a few times!

According to my calculations, the bowling ball should have been going roughly 127 mph when it hit, give or take. This assumes that the ball is fairly aerodynamic and has a dense mass, so wind resistance doesn't slow it much.

The fact that the sound takes a whole second to reach you after seeing it explode just exemplifies how great the height is.

To be honest, the attempts where the bowlingballs shatter into a million pieces were far more spectacular than the one where it actually hit the trampoline.

You've got some really wicked air currents running up the face of the dam; it's making that baseball move all over!

With about 4 seconds between each bounce, the bowling ball went up about 20 meters / 65 feet off the trampoline.

Imagine if it hit the dam and all you see is water flowing out
